Technical Bulletin 1-10/93Proper transportation and storage conditions are important for optimum performance of Imation color proofing films. Storage and handling requirements are the same for all Imation proofing films. Please review these requirements with dealers and customers. Store color sheets and base material in a flat position at all times. Store unexposed color sheets in a light-tight container, in a flat position, at a temperature no higher than 80°F (27°C), with a relative humidity of less than 50%. Do not expose finished proofs to temperatures over 90°F (32°C) for extended periods. If Imation proofing films are handled or stored improperly, blocking may occur. Blocking is a term used to describe color sheets that stick together in the package. If the color coat of one sheet sticks to the backside of the next sheet, the product is unusable.
